At Beachmere State School we have a comprehensive Student Leadership Program which develops enthusiastic and capable Student Captains. Past Student Captains have gone on to further leadership roles, including School Captains at our local High Schools. Our Student Captains build strong leadership skills. Specifically Beachmere Student Captains develop confidence in public speaking, organising and self-esteem. They are role models for all our students and are involved in key aspects of the school and our Student Council. They run our weekly Whole School Parades each Monday afternoon and key sporting events. Our Student Captains support other key programs in the school to benefit other students in their learning journey at our school. Our Peer Mediator program prepares Year 5 students for school leadership roles at Beachmere State School.
