PRINCIPAL'S WELCOMEBeachmere State School is a small primary school in the Sunshine Coast South District with an enrolment of 430 students, providing an education for students from Prep to year 7. Beachmere has a proud tradition built on traditional values, including pride in appearance and outstanding academic, cultural and sporting success in a caring environment built on respect and effective relationships. Our school vision, Commitment to Success for All, places equal emphasis on personal commitment to academic success and collective actions demonstrating responsible and active citizenship. A supportive, attractive environment has been created with our award winning school grounds and a stimulating learning atmosphere created by teachers in classrooms. Individual class rules based on The Beachmere Code of Behaviour are co-operatively developed in classes at the commencement of each year and are regularly revisited throughout the school year. Well qualified and experienced staff are committed to helping all students achieve to their potential. Information Technology is taught in all classrooms and every classroom has computers, in addition to a full computer laboratory accessed by all classes each week. We value the positive and productive relationship between the school, parents and local community at Beachmere and believe that these relationships are central in enabling children to achieve to their potential. We encourage parent involvement across many aspects of school life at Beachmere. There are opportunities to assist directly in class activities, provide input into school decision-making and become involved with the Parents and Citizens Association.
